RoamAndRecordCo started with a simple frustration: trip planning lived in a dozen scattered notes — a packing list on the fridge, hotel confirmations buried in email, a budget scribbled on a napkin. We wanted one calm, organized place for all of it.

So we do two things:

• Free planning guides — the site you are reading now. Packing checklists, cruise planning walkthroughs, road trip routes, holiday hosting timelines and travel budgets, written from real planning experience and updated regularly.
• Fillable PDF planners — printable, type-in planners sold through our Etsy shop. Instant download, US Letter and A4 sizes, no app or account needed. Every guide on this site pairs with a planner that puts its checklists into practice.

How we write

Every guide is written to be genuinely useful on its own — concrete checklists, realistic timelines, honest trade-offs. We do not publish filler, and we never recommend something we would not use ourselves. When a guide mentions one of our planners, it is because the planner was designed for exactly that job.

What we believe

Good planning is not about controlling every minute. It is about handling the boring logistics early — documents, budgets, packing — so the trip itself can be spontaneous. Plan the framework; enjoy the freedom inside it.
